On January 7, 2002, the University of Washington merged higher cuisine with higher education. When UW students returned to classes after their Winter Break, they were greeted by a newly renovated Husky Den featuring Pagliacci Pizza along with seven other dining options. We knew the campus pizzeria would be a hit - after all, pizza is the student food of choice. There is always a steady line of hungry students, staff and facuty keeping both slice bars busy, but moving swiftly during class breaks.
